What are German Cockroaches?
Small, tan, two dark stripes on the shield. Fast. This is the apartment and restaurant roach. People still call them waterbugs. They are not.
Are they dangerous?
Asthma trigger. They spread bacteria on food and dishes. A few adults means a lot of nymphs you have not seen.
What causes them?
They live indoors. Cabinets, fridge motors, dishwasher kickplates. They do not commute from the woods.

Live bugs in cabinets, pepper-like droppings, egg cases in hinges.
