What are Zipper Spiders?
Also called yellow garden spiders. Bold yellow and black. The web has a thick zigzag “zipper” down the middle.
Are they dangerous?
Look fierce. Bite is rare and not a medical emergency for most people. They eat a lot of yard insects.
What causes them?
Gardens, shrubs, and fence lines in late summer.
