Mosquito control in Spring Hill, Tennessee
Spring Hill’s ponds, ditches, and new-construction drainage hold water. Advance and Premium include In2Care mosquito traps. Basic does not. We are not selling a miracle fog that lasts all summer from one spray.
Plan coverage: In2Care included on Advance and Premium. Not on Basic.
Mosquitoes in Spring Hill backyards
Spring Hill yards are full of things that hold water: drainage swales, retention ponds in subdivisions, gutters, kids' toys, planters, and covers on grills and boats. Asian tiger mosquitoes breed in water as small as a bottle cap, and they bite during the day. That is why the backyard can be bad at 2 p.m., not just at dusk.
How Death Row handles mosquitoes
We use In2Care mosquito traps. A trap holds water that draws in female mosquitoes looking to lay eggs. They pick up a treatment that stops the larvae from becoming adults and carry it to other water spots nearby. It works with your yard, not against it. We do not run a weekly fogging route.
- We place traps in the shady, damp spots where mosquitoes rest.
- We service the traps on your Shield visits.
- We show you the water sources in your yard that need to be dumped.
Plans that include mosquitoes
The In2Care trap is included on Advance Shield ($75/month) and Premium Shield ($125/month). It is not on Basic Shield. Advance also covers rodents and a termite inspection. Premium visits every other month in spring and summer, when mosquitoes are worst, and adds lawn flea and tick treatment up to 1 acre, up to 3 times a year. Having a party or wedding? A one-time event treatment is quoted separately. Text the date.
What you can do this week
- Dump anything holding water once a week: buckets, saucers, toys, tarps.
- Clean gutters and check downspout extensions.
- Change birdbath water often.

Spring Hill mosquito questions
Our subdivision has a retention pond. Can a trap fix that?
No trap empties a pond. The trap works on the small containers and shady corners around your house, which is where the biters you feel on the patio are breeding.
When should we start?
Before the first warm stretch in spring. Starting on Advance or Premium early means the trap is out before the first big hatch.
Will I still see mosquitoes?
Some, yes. Tiger mosquitoes fly in from the neighbors too. The goal is fewer bites in your own yard, season after season.
