Work Hard, Spray Harder
Asian Lady Beetles Moving Indoors in Spring Hill
Early October in Spring Hill still feels warm at noon. By dark, the air drops fast. That swing wakes multicolored Asian lady beetles. They leave the trees and look for a sunny wall. Your house looks like a winter condo.
Columbia, Santa Fe, Franklin, and Thompson’s Station get the same push. Maury County and Williamson County see orange-red beetles stacking on light siding, window frames, and attic vents. They look like helpful garden ladybugs. They are not the same bug, and they bite when they feel trapped.
Death Row Pest Control is family-run. We work hard, spray harder. Call or text 931-500-6969. Same number for SMS: 931-500-6969. That is the only public line.
Why they move indoors now
They overwinter as adults. Cool nights send them hunting cracks, soffits, and dryer vents. One warm afternoon they crawl across the ceiling. Then they tuck into wall voids when the sun drops.
Leaf piles, tall weeds, and trees along the fence feed them first. After that, light-colored walls draw them. Brick, vinyl, and fiber cement all work as ladders. Gaps around cable lines and attic vents are open doors.
What not to do
Do not smash them on the couch or curtains. They leave a yellow stain and a sharp smell. Do not fog the whole house. That scatters them into wall voids and does nothing for the swarm still outside.
A shop-vac with a little soapy water in the canister handles a cluster on a windowsill. Tape the hose after so they do not crawl back out. Seal the bag and toss it. Fix torn screens the same day.
What Death Row does on Shield
Asian lady beetles and other fall invaders sit on the insect route. That is the Shield calendar, not a panic ticket every time one lands on the lamp.
- Basic Shield $50 — insects every 3 months, interior + exterior. Rodents not included.
- Advance Shield $75 — adds mosquitoes, rodents, and a termite inspection.
- Premium Shield $125 — tighter spring/summer schedule, rodents + termite inspection, lawn fleas/ticks, attic/entry sealing included.
Arrival is about 48 hours on Basic and Advance, about 24 hours on Premium. Heavy attic sealing or a house already loaded with beetles can still get a separate quote when the stop needs more than the route spray.

Quick home checks before we roll
Walk the sunny sides of the house at dusk. Look for orange clusters on the south and west walls. Trim weeds off the foundation. Close attic vents that hang open. Keep porch lights off when you can, or use warmer bulbs that draw fewer bugs.
If you already vacuumed a pile off one window, send a photo when you call. That helps us plan exterior residual and entry points instead of guessing.
Service towns
We cover Spring Hill, Columbia, and Santa Fe with real offices on the books. Franklin and Thompson’s Station are service area. Same for the rest of Maury County and Williamson County stops that fit the route.
