Columbia crawl spaces and garages are a known mouse path. Chris Beavers wrote (ProsGrade) that the crew found how mice were getting into a crawl space and garage, sealed the exterior, and set traps. That is the job. Basic still excludes rodents.

Plan coverage: Basic excludes rodents. Advance and Premium include rodent work. Exclusion: 20% off Advance, included Premium.

What a customer said

Erik and Blake took great care of us! We had mice in our crawl space and garage. They were out quickly and found out exactly how they were coming in the house. They sealed our exterior and set up traps to prevent more from coming. All for a great price and great customer service. Highly recommend

Mice and rats in Columbia homes

Columbia has older homes with crawl spaces, barns and outbuildings on the edge of town, and businesses near the rail line and the Duck River. That mix means we see both house mice and Norway rats. Mice come in through gaps in old siding and crawl vents. Rats burrow along foundations, under sheds, and near woodpiles and feed.

What a rodent visit includes

  • A full look at the crawl space, skirting, vents, and pipe gaps.
  • Tamper-resistant bait stations outside on runways.
  • Snap traps inside where they are safe for kids and pets.
  • A list of entry points, so you know what has to be closed.

Crawl spaces matter

A lot of Columbia rodent jobs come down to the crawl. Torn vent screens, a loose crawl door, or gaps where pipes come through the block let mice in all winter. Traps alone are a short fix if those stay open. We seal with spray foam and wire, and we quote bigger crawl or barn repairs after we measure.

Plans and pricing

Rodents are not part of Basic Shield ($50). They are covered on Advance Shield ($75/month), which also adds the In2Care mosquito trap and a termite inspection, and on Premium Shield ($125/month), which includes attic and entry sealing. Barns and the house can be on the same route or separate stops. Tell us which when you call.

The Columbia route also covers Santa Fe, Mount Pleasant, Culleoka, and Hampshire. See rodent control, our Columbia page, or call or text 931-500-6969.

Columbia rodent questions

Mice or rats?
Droppings tell us. Rice-size droppings point to house mice. Larger, blunt droppings and burrows along the foundation or under a shed point to Norway rats, which are more common near feed, woodpiles, and older outbuildings.

Can the barn be added later?
Yes. Start with the house and add a barn or shop stop whenever you want. Each building gets its own station plan.
