Rodent Control for Mice and Rats
Death Row Pest Control handles mice and rats. We do not do raccoon, snake, or wildlife removal. Mice in a crawl space belong here, and we have a real review for that job. Crawl-space construction is a separate quote after we measure.
Basic Shield ($50/month) excludes rodents. If you buy Basic and you have mice, you bought the wrong plan. Advance ($75) and Premium ($125) include rodents.

Find the hole, then trap
The work is inspection, exclusion, and traps — not a perfume spray and a wish. Real job photos from this company: chewed roof vent, garage entry, attic monitor, gear on the tailgate.
City pages:
Related: exclusion / attic and entry sealing (spray foam and wire). 20% off on Advance; included on Premium.
Which Shield covers rodents
| Plan | Price | Rodents |
|---|---|---|
| Basic Shield | $50/month | Not included. |
| Advance Shield | $75/month | Included, with whole-home service, In2Care, and termite inspection. 15% off other service. 20% off sealing. |
| Premium Shield | $125/month | Included, plus more frequent spring/summer visits, lawn fleas/ticks up to 1 acre up to 3×/year, sealing included. |
Mice and rats are covered on the plans that include them. Voles are interior-only. That is the line.
Real rodent jobs, quoted with sources
“Erik and Blake took great care of us! We had mice in our crawl space and garage. They were out quickly and found out exactly how they were coming in the house. They sealed our exterior and set up traps to prevent more from coming. All for a great price and great customer service. Highly recommend” — Chris Beavers, 5★, 12 Dec 2025, ProsGrade
“Awsome customer service. Helped with mice and stink bugs. We will definitely be using Death Row from now on. Thank you” — Jerry Dodson, 5★, 4 Nov 2025, ProsGrade

We Work Hard but Spray Harder.
Mice and rats are not on Basic
Basic Shield ($50/month) is insects. Mice in the garage, crawl, or barn start at Advance ($75) and Premium ($125). A one-time knockdown is quoted when the pressure is already heavy.
What a knockdown includes
- Tamper-resistant bait stations on travel paths.
- T-Rex snap traps where we can set them safely.
- Predator scent at runways when the property calls for it.
- A map of the skirt, vents, and pipe gaps. If those stay open, the rats walk back in.
Sealing is a different ticket
Crawl liner, wire at entries, and rock at burrows are quoted after we measure. Traps without a closed skirt are a short-term fix. Barns and the house can go on the same route or get separate stops — say which when you call.

Mice and rats in Middle Tennessee homes
Rodent calls pick up in October and stay busy through winter. Mice move from fields and construction sites into garages, attics, and crawl spaces when nights turn cold. Rats are more common around barns, feed, creeks, and older buildings.
Signs you have rodents
- Droppings in the pantry, garage, under sinks, or in the attic.
- Scratching in walls or ceilings at night.
- Chewed food bags, seed, or pet food.
- Greasy rub marks along walls and pipes.
- Burrows along foundations or under sheds (rats).
Why sealing matters
Mice can squeeze through a gap the size of a dime. If entry points stay open, new mice keep coming in, no matter how many you trap. That is why sealing is part of the plan on Premium and discounted 20% on Advance. We use spray foam and wire so rodents cannot chew through.
New homes and old homes
New homes in Spring Hill often have unsealed gaps around AC lines, plumbing, and garage doors. Older homes in Columbia and Santa Fe have worn crawl vents, settled framing, and gaps in old siding. We find the gaps on either kind.
What you can do now
- Store pet food, birdseed, and grass seed in sealed bins.
- Keep garage doors closed at night.
- Move firewood and clutter away from the house.
