Work Hard, Spray Harder
Rodent Control in Santa Fe, TN
Santa Fe shops and farmhouses give mice more than one front door: vents, barns, and stacked feed. We treat mice and rats. We are not publishing raccoon or snake pages. Basic Shield still excludes rodents.
Plan coverage: Basic excludes rodents. Advance and Premium include rodent work. Exclusion: 20% off Advance, included Premium.
What a customer said
Erik and Blake took great care of us! We had mice in our crawl space and garage. They were out quickly and found out exactly how they were coming in the house. They sealed our exterior and set up traps to prevent more from coming. All for a great price and great customer service. Highly recommend
Mice and rats on Santa Fe properties
On rural property, rodents follow the food. Barns, feed rooms, chicken coops, shops, and garages full of seed and pet food draw mice and rats all year. When fields are cut or the weather turns cold, they move toward the house too.
How we work a farm or rural lot
- Walk the property. We check the house, the crawl space, and any outbuildings you want covered. We look for droppings, burrows, rub marks, and gnawing.
- Bait outside, traps inside. Tamper-resistant bait stations go on travel paths away from pets and livestock. Snap traps go inside the house where kids and pets cannot reach them.
- Find the entry points. Crawl vents, skirting, pipe gaps, and garage corners. We show you what needs to close.
- Seal or quote. Small gaps get spray foam and wire. Barn and crawl space repairs are quoted after we measure.
Plans
Rodents are not covered on Basic Shield ($50). They are covered on Advance Shield ($75/month) and Premium Shield ($125/month). Advance gets 20% off sealing. Premium includes attic and entry sealing. If activity is already heavy, we quote a one-time knockdown first. The house and the barn can go on the same visit, or be split. Tell us which.
What helps between visits
- Keep feed in sealed bins and clean up spills.
- Move woodpiles and junk piles away from buildings.
- Keep doors on shops and barns closed at night when you can.

Rodent questions from Santa Fe farms
Are the bait stations safe around my dogs and goats?
The stations are tamper-resistant, and we place them on rodent travel paths away from where animals feed and bed down. Tell us what animals live on the property before we set anything.
Mice keep coming back every fall. Why?
Harvest and the first cold nights push them out of the fields. Sealing the house before October and keeping feed in metal bins cuts down the yearly wave.
